I discovered that when I have vegetable soup I put on weight and if I have salad I lose. I cannot have any more salad as it won’t stay down, I’m vomiting it back up as my body is sick of it…&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;So I’m back to real food. So I have a milkshake for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I also have 2 cups of veggies with a teaspoon of oil and 2 litres of water a day.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;So I start tomorrow as the boxes arrived this afternoon. I will get weighed tomorrow morning and we will see how we go... I managed to get each box for $41.25 from ebay instead of the $49.95 they cost at the chemist...and I worked out that the basic food I eat costs about $43 a week anyway so my food costs are the same so its worth a go...&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I have cross stitch and the internet to keep my brain occupied, I also have a few books to read. It does my head in more not to get weighed than it does to weigh everyday. I was 140.8 kg this morning.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I received a book today which I got from Bookmooch. Its The Atkins New Diet Revolution and I am going to give it a go. I consulted a friend who has done biology and science at university and she said the diet works, it has a negative effect on the kidneys but being obese is worse and also it gives you bad breath and she recommended mouthwash...&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I have been on the diet for most of the day as I got the book midmorning and I am so full it's not funny! I haven't eaten heaps either... I made cream of onion soup with curry and I had bacon and eggs as well. This is a good diet as I like most of the foods that are recommended. I know 1000 calories seems low but that's the only level that seems to work for me... I take medication which I have to have, there are no other options because all those types of medications tend to put on weight. &lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;So I think this is the reason why I have to have a lower intake of calories because of the effect of the medication on my body...it's quite a strong drug, it even stops my period because it raises the prolactin level - at least I think that's right if I remember what my doctor says. I like that side effect because I don't have to deal with it every month...&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I have to go see my doctor up in Sydney in a couple of week's. It's a 2 and a half hour trip there and the same back so all up, I'm out for about 6-7 hours. It is so worth it though because I have been seeing this doctor since 1989 and he has known my family since 1982. I have the illness of schizophrenia but I am one of the lucky ones, the medication works so well, you can't tell there is anything wrong. I don't deal with stress well, if I have a stressful day, I'm a zombie by the end of it which means working is out of the question. Which means it is hard when I have to try and explain to a doctor at a Centrelink review that I can't work because I can get sick if I get too stressed. I present so well and I can't fake being sick which is what some people have suggested...&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I haven't been reviewed for about 3 years, which I think is because I was hospitalised for 7 weeks about 2 years ago. We had a stressful family crisis and I was sick for a couple of months before I got to hospital which is why I was in there for so long. It took me over a year to recover fully as well...&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;During that recovery year I piled on the weight because I had no self discipline with food and I was on stronger medication for a while...I had a battle to get off the stronger medication as well, I had to cut ties with the public system and go back to my doctor in Sydney who immediately put me on to my previous medication. The public system doctors annoyed the hell out of me. I went every week and hardly ever saw the same doctor twice and nearly every time they would ask me if I was suicidal which means they never read my file where I had answered a dozen times before that I was not suicidal and have never been my whole life! &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The stronger medication required blood tests every week and I also slept all the time, all day and all night, and I piled on the weight as well...&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;All last year I have remained in the 140's. It has been heaps more difficult to lose the weight this time around. In 1992 I lost 50 kilos in a year, and from 2002-2007 I lost over 60 kilos. I have lost the desire to eat ever since I read an article about a week ago about super obese people (super obese is those with a BMI over 50). I have a BMI of 51. A doctor in the article said that he doesn't see people with BMI's over 50 at the age of 70 because they are all dead by then. Ever since then I just suddenly found it annoying at meal times because I would be hungry but I wouldn't want to eat and that's still happening. They are innerscan body composition ones. Model BC 542.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ok here are the stats:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My weight is 144.4 kg&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My Fat Percentage is 55.4%&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Water percentage is 33.3% (should be 45-60%)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Muscle weighs 61.2kg. My physique is rated 3 which means large frame obese which means I have a high muscle mass and high fat mass.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My basal metobolic rate is 2120 calories which is nonsense because if I had that many calories I would put on heaps of weight... My metobolic age is 50 which is the highest it can go so I will aim to get that down...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My bones weigh 3.2kg which is good according to the manual.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And my viseral fat rating is 19 and it should be between 1-12. The highest it can go is 59 so I guess 19 is not too bad. I have finished the lite and easy meals and am doing it on my own. I'm not doing too bad, I steam up some veggies with garlic and put some lite cheese on them. I also steam 100g of chicken or beef with them and that's my main meal of the day. I have toast for breakfast and I have a milkshake for the other meal.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; I am losing weight doing that so I will stick to it... it might not be the optimum nutrition but there is veggies, protein, dairy and carbs in there, the only thing that is really missing is fruit but I am not really fond of fruit, I have an apple sometimes... I have ordered a 12 week supply for $280.
